Tortuga Vivero
Last year the vivero was built as quickly as possible and placed up against the wall of our house. We placed electric wire to keep the dogs, raccoons and other predators out. The area was cramped, difficult to enter and leave and we had limited space.
This year we have donated a plot of land dedicated to the project. We built a much larger vivero capable of 3 times the number of eggs, as well as a residence, kitchen and a bathroom. And while there is no escape from the sun this area has considerable shade to help keep the temperature sensitive eggs cool.
There are even beautiful beach houses near by that are available to rent during the year for visitors who would like to enjoy this magical land and beautiful adventure.
